Transform Your Dream Home Into Reality

1. Agreement and Eligibility

By accessing the Fix My Home First website, requesting an estimate, scheduling a consultation, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. You agree to provide accurate information and to use our website and services only for lawful purposes.

2. Project Scope

Each renovation or improvement project is based on the scope described in the applicable written proposal, estimate, work order, or service agreement. Services not specifically included in the approved scope may require additional authorization, materials, labor, and charges before they are performed.

3. Property Access and Preparation

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and designated work areas during agreed service hours. Personal belongings, valuables, fragile items, and other possessions should be removed or protected before work begins. Delays caused by unavailable access or inadequate preparation may affect the project schedule.

4. Site Conditions

Renovation work may uncover concealed conditions such as outdated wiring, plumbing issues, structural deficiencies, moisture damage, code concerns, or unsuitable previous construction. Conditions that could not reasonably be identified during the initial assessment may require additional work and may result in a revised scope, cost, or schedule.

5. Change Orders

Changes requested by the customer, including modifications to layouts, finishes, fixtures, dimensions, materials, or equipment, must be documented and approved before the additional work proceeds. Approved changes may affect the total project price and anticipated completion date.

6. Materials and Substitutions

Materials, fixtures, appliances, and other products are subject to availability and manufacturer specifications. If a selected item becomes unavailable, discontinued, or significantly delayed, an alternative may be proposed. Any material substitution that changes the agreed project requirements will be communicated for approval when appropriate.

7. Project Scheduling

Project start and completion dates are good-faith estimates and may be affected by permitting, inspections, weather, material availability, supplier delays, property conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes as they arise.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to provide timely approvals, selections, access, and information required for the project. Delays in making required decisions or completing customer responsibilities may result in changes to the construction schedule or additional costs where permitted by the applicable project agreement.

9. Permits and Inspections

Where permits, inspections, approvals, or professional documentation are required, responsibility for obtaining and coordinating them will be established in the applicable project agreement. Governmental processing times and inspection schedules are outside our direct control and may affect project timelines.

10. Payment and Invoicing

Deposits, progress payments, and final balances, where applicable, will follow the payment schedule established in the signed project documentation. Customers are responsible for reviewing invoices and raising billing questions promptly. Unpaid balances may affect scheduling or continuation of services in accordance with the applicable agreement.

11. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be submitted as soon as possible. Any applicable cancellation charges, material costs, design fees, or other amounts will be determined according to the signed project agreement and the stage of the project when the request is received.

12. Workmanship and Product Warranties

Any workmanship warranty provided by Fix My Home First will be governed by the terms stated in the applicable project agreement. Materials, appliances, fixtures, and equipment may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer's individual terms, exclusions, registration requirements, and limitations.

13. Safety and Work Areas

Active renovation areas may contain construction materials, tools, equipment, debris, temporary barriers, and other hazards. Customers, guests, children, and pets should remain away from restricted areas unless authorized. Fix My Home First may pause work when unsafe conditions prevent the crew from performing services responsibly.

14. Third-Party Products and Contractors

Projects may involve manufacturers, suppliers, specialty trades, inspectors, designers, engineers, or other independent professionals. Their products and services may be subject to separate warranties, licenses, professional standards, and contractual terms. Where applicable, those terms will apply independently of these website Terms & Conditions.

15. Website Information

Information published on the Fix My Home First website is provided for general informational purposes. Project photographs, descriptions, service examples, pricing references, and design concepts may not represent the exact conditions, materials, scope, or final results of an individual project. 20. Updates to These Terms
